Muddy Stilettos Awards - Best Cornwall Gallery Finalist

Muddy Stilettos Awards - Best Cornwall Gallery Finalist
Muddy Stilettos award

I'm very excited to announce that the Byre Gallery is a finalist in the Muddy Stilettos Cornwall Best Gallery Award. Voting is now open and closes on 26th July and we'd be delighted if you'd vote for us - which you can do here.

The Muddy Stilettos awards is an annual event, although it understandably didn't happen in 2020, that celebrates the best independent businesses - from art galleries to wedding organisers via pubs, plant stores and pilates - across 25 counties with the emphasis on quality, creativity and style.

Muddy Stilettos first tottered into the world in 2011 as a way for journalist Hero Brown (Independent on Sunday, The ObserverRedMarie ClaireElle) to find out about the fun stuff to do in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire when she moved out of London with her husband and baby son in tow.

Quickly Muddy Stilettos caught on locally to become the ultimate ‘urban guide to the countryside’ – a witty, super-useful insider’s guide to the very best food, walks, boutiques, day trips, hotels, interiors and events for smart, fun-loving women living outside London.

In Nov 2012 the site turned into a business, and now Muddy Stilettos can now be found in 25 counties including here in the south west with sites for Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, and Somerset.

Each country has its own Editor who lives in - and is passionate about the area - and they all follow Hero’s mantra to try everything they write about so that you can fully trust their opinion; they won't write bad reviews but if a business or experience isn't up to scratch - even if it was offered on a complimentary basis - they won't write about it.

If you're planning a rural staycation this year, the Muddy Stilettos website is the ideal starting point to get an insider's tips for the best on offer to make your holiday a really memorable one.
