Inspired by her Swedish heritage as well as the beautiful surroundings of her Cornish home, Swedish jeweller Carin Lindberg creates jewellery collections as well as one of a kind pieces, in her workshop on the ruggedly spectacular north Cornish coast.
Unusual and interesting stones inspire the creation of her jewellery, ranging from the simple and understated to the textural and raw, often with contrast and asymmetry. The stones are always in focus and her pieces feature everything from the humble Cornish beach pebble, through precious and semi-precious gemstones, to diamonds.
Carin's work is created using recycled sterling silver with the occasional gold accent. She creates organic textures by fusing, and the metal is given an understated frosted matte finish or a dark patina to bring out the character of the textured silver.
Carin's work can be best described as Scandinavian meets Cornish, jewellery that has natural elegance and organic simplicity.
