Ceramicist Kate Welton shares her inspirations for and love of working in ceramics.
Cornwall based jeweller Carin Lindberg exhibited her stunning textured silver and semi precious stone jewellery at the Byre Gallery for the first time in summer 2020. Here she picks her four favourite pieces from 'Winter at the Byre.'
More maker success. I'm so pleased to share that Ruth Shelley - whose wonderful glass work can be seen at The Byre - has had three pieces selected for the highly prestigious British Glass Biennale which opens in Stourbridge at the end of this month. Ruth is one of just 76 finalists for this internationally acclaimed event. I'm rather proud that one of her pieces to be selected is Stormy Seas which was exhibited at The Byre last year. If you are in the Midlands between the 28 May and the end of June, do try to get along, it promises to be a stunning event.
