In My View: 1st - 29th July

Our second summer exhibition of 2023 sees a welcome return of Imogen Bone and Steven Buckler - two wonderful landscape artists who have delighted us with their striking work in exhibitions over the past couple of years.

You can view the digital catalogue for the paintings here

In My View they come together each with a new collection of landscapes and seascapes of our beautiful corner of Cornwall - the Rame Peninsula landscapes. Steven grew up in South East Cornwall so is no stranger to the beaches, estuaries and woodlands of our corner of the county; Imogen has only known the peninsula for a few years - being introduced to it by Jill Hudson as they undertook a sketching tour for their 2022 exhibition Walking Distance - but for this exhibition Steven and Imogen introduce each other to their favourite places.

Imogen and Steven's work will be complemented by a collection of Nerikomi porcelain vessels by Judy McKenzie who is making a welcome return to the Byre Gallery.
