The Ripple Effect

The Byre, 18th July – 6th September 2015

Bringing a flavour of lazy, sun dappled days by the river, The Ripple Effect, The Byre’s new exhibition for summer 2015 features stunning new work in glass, ceramics, textiles and precious metals.

Among the acclaimed makers showing their work at The Byre for the first time are ceramicist Adam Frew, glass artist Laura Smith and textile maker Annabel Hill.

Silversmith Abigail Brown makes a welcome return with stunning new pieces for The Ripple Effect, as do ceramicists Remon Jephcott and Hugh Maitland Perry, glass artist Charlotte Sale, and paper artist Claire Brewster. Anne McKenzie – whose striking Perspex screens were a highlight of Standing on Ceremony – returns to The Byre with new wall hung work, and Claire Crompton will unveil some new Textile Flora.
