Rebecca creates a collection of porcelain to be used and enjoyed. Wheel thrown, some pieces are carved using the momentum of the wheel turning and others are later manipulated. Rebecca’s glazes are developed through experimentation of recipes, with stains and oxides added for colour. The result is a warm, soft satin glaze which envelops the calm but strong forms in a smooth, rich, tactile surface. Rebecca works from her studio in the garden of her home west of Penzance.
