Postcards from the Edge

Postcards from the Edge

Postcards from the Edge, the first exhibition of 2020, is a celebration of the wonderful south west coast path which is much loved by locals and visitors alike and is walked by thousands every year. Ten artists and makers – who all have a connection with Cornwall - have each created collections of new work inspired by this thin strip of footpath that clings to the edge of the land.

Postcards from the Edge features a wonderful selection of new paintings by Cornwall artists Kerry Harding, Sophie Harding and Paul Wadsworth, together with David Muddyman's very distinctive abstract watercolours. In between the paintings there are a few glimpses of some of the stunning works in ceramics, glass, silver and textiles -all inspired by the south west coast path - from Abigail Brown, Teresa Dunne, Helen Eastham, Rachel Foxwell, Bridget Macklin and Lucy Spink.

We hope you enjoy spring 2020 at the Byre Gallery.
