How to find us
Situated on the edge of the village of Millbrook on the Rame Peninsula in south east Cornwall, The Byre is easily accessible from both east and west. During spring and summer exhibitions The Byre is open Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holidays 10.30 am to 5.30pm; the Christmas exhibition is open Friday – Sunday and at all other times by appointment;
From Plymouth and the east:
Cross the Tamar Bridge and take the A38 towards Liskeard, at the Trerulefoot roundabout take the A374 towards Torpoint, then the B3247 to Millbrook.
Or catch the Torpoint Ferry from Plymouth, take the A374 to Antony then the B3247 to Millbrook.
From the rest of Cornwall
Take the A38 towards Plymouth and at the Trerulefoot roundabout take the A374 then B3247.
As you enter Millbrook, The Byre is on the right hand side just past Higher Hounster Farm.
Parking is available at The Byre. Alternatively from Millbrook Car Park it is a ten minute uphill walk via West St, Bennett’s Lane and St Andrews Street.
On foot or bicycle, Millbrook can be reached from Plymouth by the Cremyll ferry.
