For autumn we’ve put together a special online collection of new work from some of our favourite artists and makers – click here to enjoy – and over the next few weeks we’ll be adding some more pieces to our online collections.

There has also been a big change for one of our favourite makers. We always knew that glass artist Benjamin Lintell was a rising star and so I’m excited to report that his talent has been recognised in the most famous glass making spot in the world, Murano in Venice. Benjamin started working for Maestro Roberto Beltrami at Wave Murano Glass at the beginning of the month and as well as creating pieces for their studio, he’ll continue to make his own work which we’ll of course be showing at the Byre.

You can see some new pieces from Benjamin in ‘Winter at the Byre’ which opens in mid November – along with other fantastic new work from our regular makers and artists as well as pieces from some exciting new talents.  More on that soon.

Although this autumn is an online collection, we are currently open by appointment until Saturday 7th.  So if you’d like to pop in to say hello and see any of the pieces featured do please get in touch. But if you prefer to enjoy from home, I hope you enjoy our online autumnal interlude.
